How I Help

What I Do

What Happens After the Referral

I provide clear, straightforward guidance for individuals who believe they may qualify for benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). My role is to make the first steps simple, understandable, and supported.

I help people understand:

  • what the EEOICPA program is

  • who may qualify

  • what information is needed

  • what to expect next

My goal is to ensure no one starts this process alone or confused.

I offer one‑on‑one support at the beginning of the journey:

  • Explain the EEOICPA program in plain language

  • Help individuals understand whether their work history or diagnosis may fit the program

  • Answer questions about the process and next steps

  • Collect the basic information needed to begin

  • Submit a referral to Nuclear Care Partners on their behalf

  • Ensure the referral reaches the correct team quickly

  • Remain available for questions as they move forward

I don’t determine eligibility — but I make sure people know where they stand and what comes next.

Once I submit the referral:

  • Nuclear Care Partners reviews the information

  • They determine eligibility

  • They guide the individual through the EEOICPA process

  • They help them obtain their White Card

  • They provide any approved in‑home services

I stay available for support and questions, but the eligibility and care process is handled by the Nuclear Care Partners team.
